Midway Airport is conveniently located 10 miles from downtown Chicago. Since the Midway Airport
Terminal Development Program began in 1997, Midway Airport has experienced record-breaking growth,
making it one of the fastest growing airports in the nation.

The airport has experienced many changes in the last couple of years. In the summer of 1999,
the new six-level parking garage opened. In March 2001, the new Midway Airport Terminal Building
opened bringing a new two-level terminal roadway, expanded ticket counters and baggage claim areas
and state-of-the art amenities.

Midway's historic redevelopment hit another milestone with the opening of new airline gates
and concourse buildings in October 2001.

Parking at Chicago's Midway

Whether you need to park your car at the airport for a few hours, a few days, or longer, Midway Airport provides several parking options. 

Hourly parking is on the 3rd floor of the parking garage, located east of Cicero Avenue. It is intended for parking three hours or less, not for overnight parking. Floors 1, 4, 5, and 6 of the parking garage, located east of Cicero Avenue, are designated for daily parking.  Level 2 is the rental car pick-up and drop-off.

Complimentary Shuttle Bus Service is available from the Economy parking Lots to the Terminal building 24 hours per day, 7 days per week.
